This is a level 2 course.

You also must have completed the Access to Games Design course prior to starting this one.
Who is the course for?
This course is for learners interested in learning to use Unity. No previous experience necessary
What can I expect to learn?
You will explore how industry-standard game development software, including Unity, is used across creative sectors such as games, television, film, interactive media, and digital production. You’ll develop practical skills in 3D environment creation and asset integration, learning how real-time digital workflows support a wide range of professional games and media pipelines. Throughout the course, you’ll experiment with Unity’s tools, refine ideas to meet a design brief, and build a fully playable 3D game scene that you will review and evaluate using recognised industry methods.
How will I learn?
The classroom based learning will be a mixture of demonstrations, discussions and lots of hands on practice using the devices in our IT suites. There will an experienced tutor to help and guide you at all times.
How will I know how well I am doing?
Your tutor will give feedback as appropriate throughout the course to help you gauge your progress. Feedback may be verbal or written. You will record your progress on an individual learning plan.
Will I have to do any work at home ?
Learners are expected to undertake homework tasks outside of the classroom to reinforce key concepts and maximise their learning experience
What will I need to provide?
You will need a notepad and pen for making notes.
