Who is the course for?
Adults aged 19+ who want support using NHS and government services online or who feel unsure about managing these tasks digitally. The course is ideal for learners who want to reduce stress and build confidence when accessing important information and services
What can I expect to learn?
You’ll learn how to find your way around NHS and government websites confidently and safely. You’ll practise tasks such as booking appointments, finding trusted information, and completing online forms, with step-by-step support. By the end of the course, you’ll feel more confident managing essential services online independently.
How will I learn?
The sessions will be interactive with video and audio for tutor presentation and demonstration.The tutor will guide you through the sessions to ensure that you achieve the course outcomes.
How will I know how well I am doing?
Your tutor will give feedback as appropriate throughout the course to help you gauge your progress. Feedback may be verbal or written. You will record your progress on an individual learning plan.
Will I have to do any work at home ?
No homework will be set but it is highly recommended that all new skills are put into practice outside of the class.
What will I need to provide?
It would be helpful to bring a notepad and pen for making notes.

With growing confidence, learners may progress to IT Digital Basics for the Modern Workplace or other IT courses as appropriate.
