Description

This course is designed to help learners develop confidence in using everyday digital technology required in modern workplaces. It supports individuals who may feel unsure using computers, tablets, or online tools, helping them build the essential digital skills needed to communicate, organise work, and stay safe online.
Learners will gain practical experience using workplace software, managing files, communicating digitally, and understanding basic online safety. The course is highly supportive, practical, and focused on real world workplace scenarios.

Who is the course for?
Adults aged 19+ who want to build or improve essential digital skills for employment or volunteering.

What can I expect to learn?
You’ll learn how to use everyday workplace technology such as managing files, using digital systems, and communicating online. You’ll practise tasks that help you feel more confident using technology in real work situations.

How will I learn?
The sessions will be interactive with video and audio for tutor presentation and demonstration.The tutor will guide you through the sessions to ensure that you achieve the course outcomes.

How will I know how well I am doing?
Your tutor will give feedback as appropriate throughout the course to help you gauge your progress. Feedback may be verbal or written. You will record your progress on an individual learning plan.

Will I have to do any work at home ?
No homework will be set but it is highly recommended that all new skills are put into practice outside of the class.

What will I need to provide?
It would be helpful to bring a notepad and pen for making notes.
