Description
We offer courses that are designed for people whose first language is not English. We are here to help you build your language skills and improve your career prospects. Whatever your current level or background, we have courses aimed at developing your listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills. We offer courses on different days and times in a centre near you or online.
Click Register Interest and you will be contacted within 3 working days to complete the enrolment and assessment process. This course is available from 01/08/2026, however your start date will be agreed during the enrolment process.

What can I expect to learn?
You will improve your English skills and confidence to prepare for your next course.
How will I learn?
You will learn with support from a tutor in weekly sessions, using a range of activities and resources to help you practise and improve your skills.
How will I know how well I am doing?
Your tutor will give you feedback during the course to help you understand your progress. Feedback can be spoken or written. You will also record your progress on your individual learning plan.
Will I have to do any work at home?
You will be given homework and are expected to complete it before your next session.
