You must undertake an initial assessment prior to enrolling on this course. Please book onto an online L1 cybersecurity specific assessment.

What can I expect to learn?
You will learn what cybercrime is, how it works, and how it affects individuals and organisations. You’ll explore practical ways to stay safe online, including protective measures, security testing, and setting up user access controls. You’ll also develop an understanding of key UK legislation and the ethical responsibilities involved in cybersecurity
How will I learn?
The classroom based learning will be a mixture of demonstrations, discussions and lots of hands on practice using the devices in our IT suites. The tutor will guide you through the sessions to ensure that you achieve the course outcomes. There will an experienced tutor to help and guide you at all times.
How will I know how well I am doing?
Your tutor will give feedback as appropriate throughout the course to help you gauge your progress. Feedback may be verbal or written. You will record your progress on an individual learning plan.
Will I have to do any work at home ?
Learners are expected to undertake homework tasks outside of the classroom to reinforce key concepts and maximise their learning experience.
