What's this course about?
During this family session, find out more about how children learn at school, and how using Storysacks can make reading fun and bring books to life.

Who is the course for?
Parents/carers of Reception and KS1 children from Essex. Children are encouraged at these sessions.

What can I expect to learn?
You will learn how storysacks are used to make reading fun.

How will I learn?
A tutor will guide you to create your own storysack together to use at the session and at home.

How will I know how well I am doing?
You will be given tutor feedback at the end of each task. The tutor will work with you to help you to think about your progress and decide on points where you may need more practice.

Will I have to do any work at home?
Generally, there is no requirement for any work at home, but you may want to practice skills learnt.

What will I need to provide?
All resources will be provided for you.

Are there any other costs?
There are no extra costs associated with this course.

What can I do next?
When you finish the course we will provide you with details about what programmes you can move on to next.
